Chrono Funcional Medicine · Miami

Losing the weight is the easy part. Staying you is the hard part.

Lose weight while protecting your muscle — and your face. Most GLP-1 programs in Miami weigh you and re-inject you. Nothing else.

Only one in four patients is still on treatment after a year. And 25–30% of what you lose isn't fat: it's lean mass, and it doesn't come back on its own. Here GLP-1 comes with labs, body composition and a strength plan, from an APRN who treats you in your language.

12-month persistence: Xie L. et al., JAMA Network Open, March 2026 (126,984 adults). Body composition after stopping: systematic review, eClinicalMedicine, March 2026.

How it works

  1. Evaluation

Full history, labs and goals. 60–90 minutes. You leave with a written clinical impression, not a sold package.

  2. Plan

What gets treated, in what order, what it costs and what gets monitored. In writing, in your language.

  3. Follow-up

Monthly for metabolic care, per procedure for aesthetics. Adjusted with data, not with the scale alone.

The judgment behind every plan

  • Evaluation before treatment. In Florida, any prescription treatment requires a good faith exam by a provider licensed to order it. Here that exam is the first visit, every time.
  • Approved, traceable product. Every product is used by the route and for the indication it was approved for, with its lot number recorded in your chart.
  • Written clinical reason. When a medication is compounded, the reason your case requires it that way is documented.
  • Sequence, decided in consultation. When to treat the face of a patient who is losing weight is Yaumara's call at the evaluation, case by case. There is no single waiting period: it depends on how your process is going.
  • Everything is measured. Labs, body composition, strength and mood. Adjustments come from data, not from the scale alone.
  • Verified emergency kit. Before any injectable, the kit is confirmed complete and in date. If it isn't, nothing is scheduled.
